heh heh heh. today was damn good. all cos royston tan came to our sch. he showed us three of his short films. first is "blind". well alotta ppl wanted to ask wat it meant, but no one wanted to. den for me, i interpret it as: we see the girl looking at something. she is looking. hardly budges. turns away once in a little while. den at the end of 5 min, we realise dat shes blind. well, we thot dat she was looking at sumthin, but shes blind. doesnt dat make us blind as well? we can nv see everything frm our limited eyes. hmm... sumone out there. dun blind urself wif love animore. its obvious everything is a ploy!
then he showed us 48 on aids. 48 ppl spoke abt aids in front of the screen. its touching, seeing how aids victims, relatives and friends of victims and volunteers speaking up against all odds. quite impactful too...
last was CUT. omg its so damn good lah. royston tan completely blew away the censorship board wif this film. wats especially gd is dat it actually underwent the censorship board n came out unscathed: not a single cut. hahaha i asked royston if it had been cut, he said no, cos he had mastered the technique of scolding ppl using perfectly good english. especially rmb the part where jonathan lim went to the tune of "this is my country, this is my flag": this one is PG, that is G, this one is RA, you cannot see...." damn funny. den got this part oso: does watching two girls kiss in a lesbian film make me become a lesbian? hahaha its so obvious rite??? he realli did damn well. plus the musicals and everything, everybody takes home sumthin even tho everybody was laffing. man... i wish i cld write a script like dat...
well juz came back frm tuition. think hes damn zai. but once i reach home i forget everything le. jialat.... muz maintain. promos comin. huifoon jiayou! hahaha we muz encourage each other on! hahaha
