yay! today was quite fun. had to reach early in the morn for morn assembly tho so abit sian diao. oh well idled my time away wif the table tennis team until 930 when we heard the legendary jason ho having settled himself on a canteen bench beneath our premises. haha so sj n i went to tok to him. hmm he wants bio. n he wants RJC too. hahaha dunno lah see how loh. shall try to convince him. hmm den went to meet heidi n cyn. wanted to bring em straight away to LT2 u see, but turned out a tour guide started on em. so i had no choice but to watch em be brought away. oh well but i told the guide dey needed to attend the tok so... yea. haha boonkiat nicky zp weien n dunno who else all attended leeks's tok. oh well. stayed ard in the hall till 1030 den went to walk ard. watched bands, watched MAD. can't believe wat ling told me when i first met her lah. wah kao scary ;p i'm listening to "let's get retarded" again n again now. hahaha oh well like the dance quite alot. especially the part: everybody everybody let's get into it, get stupid. very nice i like the way dey did the part. oh well hmm went to table tennis there tok n stuff. well thats abt wat i did for the entire day. juz watch bands, MAD, go back table tennis there. oh well missed lunch but nv realised. hmm later went back to table tennis there then sheila popped out when i was playing wif sj. so had to play wif her due to pop demand even tho we all noe her ability liaoz. oh well sweat alot loh. den went down wif the rest to inner plaza. turned out council was doin mass dance, n our excellency miss faith perh pulled me in lah. den woon agreed summore. nearly died. so paiseh dunno how to dance den one fat blob bouncing there so embarassing. den woon nv dance wif me. end up last dance i danced wif jieying. wah lau so paiseh lah... haha i shld learn to be more brave. oh well oh yah b4 dat took free neoprint wif ling from photog soc. wah kao damn nice lah (as in the service) oh well. hmm den went to LT3 to watch huangcheng performance. not bad. hahaha nv lose their cool yet. haiz they are in some sort of crisis now. hopefully i can go back help when i can n if i can...? den went wif class to breeks for dinner. there was ethel pearlyn qianyi wei2 cliff bum marc nel n i. quite shuang the chicken leg was nice. oh well we made alotta noise there, n got a cake for wei2. hahaha the staff were nice to give us a candle n all. hahaha turned out two other ppl there were having their bdays too. haha so qiao. oh well hmm toked abt CERTAIN IRRITATING PPL, n i nearly burst again. oh well so frustrating loh. haiz... dun like the feeling of hating ppl, i juz realised. but... i juz feel it... hmmm den came home n now here i am blogging
well today has led me to think y i joined hcjc
hcjc has a unique family environment which no other institute can match. the class benches are truly a place where everyone's hearts belongs, as it is a place where trust n frenships r built n forged. the many events dat we haf involve us heavily in preparing for them, such as the chinese new year, midautumn festival, carnival, street markets... so many. each n every event has made us a closer class n closer frenz. the team has spirit, wif the frequent team dinners n method of communication which i had nv experienced b4. hmm the occasional skipping of lessons, basketball everyday after sch (or sumtimes during sch) makes sch life so interesting. life here is not all abt play, as u might find in certain other jcs, but it is very well balanced wif studies. of cuz, a well balance is not always desirable for everyone even tho it is politcally correct, but the main purpose of a jc life is to study. so i wldnt recommend too much fun. a fun life can oso be led in jc, as i haf very much experienced in hcjc myself. n i managed to promote, which adds all the more icing on top of the cake. so... hcjc is a choice i nv regretted, even tho i truly considered other jcs b4. why settle for anything less?
hmm as for wat to do in hcjc, i seriously recommend huangcheng. to all juniors out there, huangcheng is THE event u want to participate in if u want to noe a million more ppl in hcjc. huangcheng involves 200+ ppl every year, n if ur more frenly n participative, its not difficult to find urself in a much wider social circle within those 3 months. n huangcheng at the end of the entire production process gives u such satisfaction that is realli indesribable. how everyone works towards a common goal n finally achieves it is truly a miraculous experience. but as for juniors who haf other ccas (especially competitive sports) that haf competitions by april or may, seriously reconsider. firstly, huangcheng takes up too much of ur time for u to be able to concentrate on anything else. secondly huangcheng demands alot of ur energy. even if u did manage to get ur cca into ur schedules, u wld be tired out n not haf time to study. despite wat ppl sae that first three months studies not impt, it is still the basics. wifout the foundations u can nv build a house. so... dun neglect ur studies nor ur cca like i both did. i found myself suffering at the end of the day.
so... dats my advice to those who wanna join hcjc n huangcheng. hope u make the wise choice! because you deserve only the best...
