well heres a post.
work was quite busy on thursday. it was my last day at work and so i felt obliged to do as much as i can. finished cue cards, staff aids all dat. oh wells. managed to leave at ard 620pm. which is pretty good. hahaha was watching the channel 8 9pm drama when joy told me her fren, who does modelling, was drafted to act alongside joanne peh and fiona xie.
i haf decided i want to be an actor.
i'm not being serious here.
ok friday i took leave. so i drove my dad to mrt station, b4 going home, fetching my mum ard to run errands. fought evil forces (a.k.a hardcore insane aunties) at NTUC. glad to say i survived. drove the car for a wash which took a bloody hour. and it wasnt even clean larh dammit. oh wells went back home and almost immediately had to drive my mum out again to her haircut. parked the car at my dads workplace before heading for the library. i think the opening of bishan library released this whole load of brand new comics into the libraries. which is good cos it means i got alotta stuff to borrow. hahaha ran in the rain to SMU. watched hengsoon's creative thinking project which was kinda interesting, tho i din really understand if there was really a drive to prove a point. can see wad it means, but it din really cause impact. oh wells my two cents worth. it was creative nonetheless. and im pretty sure dats the whole point of CREATIVE thinking.
walked wif ling to raffles city where we had pizza. she had one slice i had five. glutton-ed out. walked to esplanade park wif snapples in hand (mine not for long tho, as those who know the rate at which i consume liquids) and walked along all the chinese new year stalls that are set up annually there. ling had nv been there b4, while i had been there for like... years. well it was really amusing when we reached this OSIM stall. there was this flabelos machine, where when u stand on it, the platform vibrates, effectively making anybody shake their booty at hyper speed. i had tried it at station before, but jialing was amazed at the invention and went to try. imaginably, she drew quite a number of bystanders. all the chee ko pek. after she got off, ppl began to put kids on the platforms. hahahaha there was these two angmoh kids which were particularly cute. think the girls was only like... 4 yrs old? and she was grabbing onto the stable part of the machine for life while she... shook her booty. yea ling took fotos. oh wells.
walked along for abit more before we sat down and had a talk. it wasnt much. cos i was awfully quiet, that i apologise for. oh wells walked down and talked more till we reached esplanade. theres this over-enthu guy who works at chocz in esplanade. wanted to buy choc-coated strawberries for jialing but ended up pretty amused. sat on this cushion and we talked whilst eating strawberries, talking even more kok, and flicking broken ends of toothpicks. i must say that ling is a noob at flicking broken ends of toothpicks.
sent her home, travelled home. slept late. and it's the eve of chinese new year already!
seems to me im beginning to lose the excitement everyone has during these holidays. first it was christmas which i was working. den new years eve, which i din feel the hype. now chinese new year i oso like. oh. ok. so it is here. yea.
